Steve lives in Melbourne and is currently senior pastor at Sydenham Baptist Church. In addition to ministry at Sydenham, Steve is active in training and consulting church and mission ministry staff and leaders around discipleship, mission and leadership, and speaks at churches and events. Steve holds a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary with a focus on Leadership and Church Engagement in Discipleship and Mission, and considers John 10:10 (‘I have come to bring life and life to the full’) to be one of his life-orientating scriptures. As Catalyse Change’s Church Leaders Coach, Steve has a vision to equip, develop and resource church leaders in discipleship and mission, enabling churches to flourish in the work of the Kingdom. Steve is keen on a range of sports including AFL (Go Blues!) and soccer. He loves theatre and film, and enjoys good food, wine and coffee.
